The Communication Officer for the NDC Youth Force, Seyram Godfred, has called on the leadership of the governing NDC to prioritize its youth members in job placements as the new administration continous to settle into office.
Speaking in an interview on Aluta FM’s Anopa Koko show, Seyram Godfred, emphasized that the youth who tirelessly campaigned for the party’s victory deserve to be considered first.
According to him, the efforts and sacrifices made by young people across the country were instrumental in securing political power, and it is only fair that they are not left behind now that appointments and opportunities are being distributed.
“We worked and suffered for the party to come into power. Our leaders are now in various offices, and it is only right that we, the youth who contributed significantly, are also offered jobs,” he stressed.
The group urges party executives and government appointees to recognize the contributions of young members and ensure they benefit from employment opportunities as part of the party’s commitment to empowering its grassroots.
